Stewed apples
Ingredients
- 6 large apples cored
- 1 handful dried cranberries optional
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 cup filtered water

Instructions
- Roughly chop the apples into chunks and place in a large pan with all the other ingredients.
- Gently cook over a low heat for around 15 minutes until the apples have softened and there is a slight sheen to the stew.
- Serve warm with yogurt (coconut, soy or dairy) berries and some ground seeds and nuts (optional).
- Store for 1 week in the fridge in an airtight container.
