Stewed apples
Ingredients

apples
cored
1
handful
dried cranberries
optional

tsp
ground cinnamon

tsp
turmeric powder
1
tsp
lemon zest
1
cup
filtered water
Instructions
Roughly chop the apples into chunks and place in a large pan with all the other ingredients.
Gently cook over a low heat for around 15 minutes until the apples have softened and there is a slight sheen to the stew.
Serve warm with yogurt (coconut, soy or dairy) berries and some ground seeds and nuts (optional).
Store for 1 week in the fridge in an airtight container.
