Stewed apples
  1. Roughly chop the apples into chunks and place in a large pan with all the other ingredients.
  2. Gently cook over a low heat for around 15 minutes until the apples have softened and there is a slight sheen to the stew.
  3. Serve warm with yogurt (coconut, soy or dairy) berries and some ground seeds and nuts (optional).
  4. Store for 1 week in the fridge in an airtight container.
